I've got Music... Sweet Sweet Music...

I got an Ipod... Who can ask for anything more. I bought the little darlin from a local resale shop and it was like new and the price was not to be ignored! I sent my Zen back to be fixed, and it should be here any day now. I will have the best of both worlds. I really like my Ipod (80gig classic, silver) I have tons of music on it already. You know it's the disco machine of my dreams! (I love disco music (maybe b/c it was the music I grew up with) and I play it all the time.)
I have also downloaded 2 audio books. Pillars of the Earth, and Dragonfly in Amber. Pillars is 40 hours and Dragonfly is I think 30. Lucky for me I can put the headphones on at work and tune out the chatting that goes on and listen!

I thought I was the only person that really likes going to the zoo and checking out the animals. But the more I talk to people about it the more I find that they liked it too! I took TONS of pictures, once I figured out how to focus on the animals and not the fences that they were behind I was golden! I really wanted to see the tigers, heard a lot about them on the web and from a friend who when, I was not dissapointed, they were awesome. They played and ran around and were like HUGE house cats.

My Brother Has a Blog!

After much bad mouthing about blogs my bother Jonathan has a blog. He is going to talk about food! He is a wonderful cook and worked in a restaurant in New York as a chef. He can take things from the back of your fridge and make a meal that would leave you wanting more.

He is on Weight Watchers and is going to share some of his recipes with the who ever finds his blog. I think WW is a great idea and it really works if you can commit to it. I did and now I can't even think about counting points. It's all about being able to buy into the mindset of WW and I can't do it again.

Quick someone get me a Whopper! :)

Is it hot enough???

Today was hotter than blue blazes! I was actually happy to go to work in the air conditioned hospital!!! Although work left a lot to be desired. Up and down the stairs, yes, there is an elevator but you know... I am trying to make my heart one step healthier :)
My son, Brendon worked outside today and he said that it was 109 in the hot sun. I believe him, I stepped out for just a moment and thought I was going to melt!

Now, on to something else. My ZEN has crapped the bed. I have to send it off to be fixed, or better yet I am going to take it back to Circut City and get another one. I hate the thought of going through all the music I have and resorting it to make my ZEN the hot disco machine it is... lol... not to mention all the pod casts that I have downloaded.

Oh, and one more thing. I went to my bud's Colleen's on Saturday for a party and had a great time. I spent a lot of time laughing my ass off. And just for the record if anyone comes near my TAINT I'm not to be held responsible!

What Do You Need That For?

When I told Jess that I wanted THE mp3 player, she posed the above question. She wanted to know besides music that I have on disc anyway what would I listen to. Well... I replied, I listen to Podcasts! I listen to lots of them, about photography, tech, music, news... Just about anything you can think of someone has a podcast about it! At the moment I listen to them via Itunes and am stuck just listening to them on the computer, when I get my little beauty I will be free to come and go as I please.

So in the spirit of sharing here are some of the ones I listen to:

I am DONE with winter and other ramblings!

OK.. Winter started way to early and it is going on for far to long. We are expecting another weather event this weekend. I want to get outside with my camera but at the rate the weather is going I don't think that is going to happen.

I have been thinking about maybe getting some backdrops and start taking portraits. My GF's nephew is a cutie and her new niece is a looker too and I might start with some pics of them.



OMG!!! My friend Colleen told me about Rhapsody a fantastic site for music. I have to say that I am in love and can see myself becoming broke getting some of the music that I haven't hear in years... and of course tons of new stuff! Thanks Colleen!!!!

Now I need a new MP3 player!~~~>
My b'day is coming and I might have to rethink my requests! I originally wanted to get an remote for my camera. I was thinking about an Ipod but Colleen suggested this little beauty, and I checked it out and this is the one! That Colleen knows how to spend my money!! :)

Happy day! I was just on Amazon (yes ADHD is a problem here) and I found the remote for 18.00! I am so freaking happy. I can have my remote and MP3! This is a goo
d night!

Wait till Next Year!

Ok... so it's taken me a while to get over the Pat's losing to the Giants. I don't know what happened, they forgot to bring their A game... Sigh... I don't tknow if there will be another magic season like this again in the near future. Looking at all of the free agents and people with high salaries, coupled with the fact that we have a few people who are getting up there in age we might see something like this again soon.

But I will be there watching win or lose... Because they are my team!

OUCH! its been 5 Months!!!

OMG! I can't believe that I have not posted anything to my blog in 5 months. Not that a lot has happened but 5 months is a very long time to let this go. I promise to do better from now on.

Today is Super Bowl Sunday!!! Go Patriots!

They have had a wonderful season so far and I have my fingers and toes crossed that they win tonight and make this the first ever PERFECT season!

I am really excited about the game and can't wait for it to start!
